Mayo Pujols is Chief Operating Officer at Castle Creek, Inc. With 30+ years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Mr. Pujols has deep experience with developing, launching, and commercializing innovative medicines.
He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Rocket Pharmaceuticals and is the founding Chief Executive Officer at Andelyn Biosciences, an Ohio-based Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization, created by Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he is a board member.
Mr. Pujols, who has more than 10 years of experience in the cell and gene therapy space, has held other leadership roles at Novartis, Celgene (Bristol Myers Squibb), Advaxis Immunotherapies, Merck, and MedImmune (Astra-Zeneca) in commercial/clinical manufacturing, quality operations, technology transfer, process/analytical development, supply chain, engineering, validation, and project management.
Mr. Pujols has a Master of Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
